The DeGraff Fire Department was pleased to take possession of their brand new Smeal Volunteer II Pumper earlier this month. The top mount design will provide for safe and easy operation of the Waterous CSC 1250 GPM pump, while the 1000 gallon UPF tank will provide water on scene while supply lines are being set up. The roll up door design will maximize space and provide for plenty of equipment compartmentation. The powerful 2008 International 4400 4x2 chassis with it’s 330 hp engine and Allison 3000 EVS transmission will have no problem moving the rig down the road or providing for on scene power needs. The large 6 man cab will accommodate a full crew from station to fire scene.
